Ursus Wehrli – Tidying Up Art

Last weekend the Swiss people turned down the offer to extend their leave days paid from four weeks per year to six weeks. In a public vote, two thirds turned down this seductive offer to support their country´s economy. If you think this is strange, you should know that Swiss are known to be up tight about order and neatness, sometimes up to the point of being painful. One of them is Ursus Wehrli, the artist I would like to introduce today. He is Swiss, he is different. He tidies up art. He is cool. It´s hilarious. See for yourself…

Liu Bolin – Playing Hide and Seek

I have seen many great artworks when searching for inspiring art. But when it comes to photograph artists, Liu Bolin is definitely one of the best ones I have ever come across. Check out why Liu Bolin is also known as “The Invisible Man”.

Street Artists – Julian Beever and Bansky

When walking the streets of big cities, one frequently comes across various forms of art. This might include anything from graffiti to sculptures, wheatpasting and poster art. Occasionally, people do huge chalk paintings on the sidewalks or in pedestrian zones. Even though all this art can be great, I think it has nothing on the work of two very famous and very special street artists whose work I consider to be brilliant. See for yourself whether you also appreciate the art of the pavement Picasso Julian Beever and  Bansky.

These ARTISTS … astonishing materials

Art can be virtually anything from paintings to photos and sculptures. Everyone is attracted by different kinds of art. Some love sketches, others modern drawings and some don´t see the purpose of art at all. Personally, I love extraordinary pieces of art made by using unique or rarely used techniques that might not seem to relate to to art in any way. Thus, I would like to introduce you to the street artist phenomenon BLU, the tape artist Mark Khaisman, the sand artist Ilana Yahav, the plastic bottle recycler Aurora Robson and the cereal artist Ryan Alexiev. Let´s get stARTed.
