Instagram, a photo sharing app with more than 40 million users, is one of the most popular apps ever. However, a video sharing iPhone app called Viddy is catching up quickly reaching 26 million users with 500k new users registering every day. Even Mark Zuckerberg signed up….but what´s the hype all about?
Viddy is also referred to as “Instagram for videos” and that´s basically what it is. Upon registration, it enables you to upload videos of up to 15 seconds in length, edit them using various hip filters (there´s more free ones available from the market place and quite a few you can purchase), change the audio setting etc before uploading it to the Viddy website, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube or Tumblr. Thanks to a Facebook Timeline app, you can showcase your videos via your timeline, too. Besides, users can also “follow”, “like” and “re-share” videos as easily as via Instagram. Well, maybe Mark Zuckerberg is already saving up for a Viddy deal after having spent $1 billion on Instagram. If you want to check it out, click here to download it from the app store.
